training for every cycle of life
Hi, I’m Ali!
I coach with empathy and humor while keeping inclusivity at the center of everything I do.
Here’s what makes me different:
Menstrual-Cycle-Informed Programming -> honoring hormonal shifts and supports consistency to empower women/AFAB clients.
Gender Affirming Training-> I provide coaching that respects identity and supports fitness as a tool for self-affirmation.
Body Positive Approach -> All shapes and sizes are celebrated as we focus on strength and sustainability.
Commitment to Accessibility-> Continuing to expand training access through American Sign Language education.
Your body needs more than just sets & reps…so check your trainer’s form.
More About Me!
I’m a comedian/actor; a theatre kid who always skipped gym in High School. In my mid 20’s, my body started to make some changes I wasn’t pleased with…but I was so tired of the cardio craze that gets pushed onto women, and I wanted results that would last. I discovered strength training in 2017 and fell head over heels in love with it. The entertainment industry is full of ups and downs, but the gym gave me a sense of consistency. I could crush an audition, or bomb a comedy set, but at the gym it didn’t matter…those metal plates were there for me to lift.
In my 30’s, I noticed there were 10-14 days each month where I wasn’t quite able to lift the way I usually do. My energy was more than depleted, and my appetite was shot. Shortly after, I was diagnosed with PMDD (Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder), a neurological hormonal sensitivity. The more I learned about the highs and lows of the menstrual cycle, the more I became fascinated with how to connect it to the consistency I so valued in my training.
Moving from Chicago to NYC required me to take on another career, and I quickly realized that my passion for fitness, my knowledge of the menstrual cycle, my love of empowering others could all come together in becoming a personal trainer.
So, here I am!
